This animation made its debut in the 2025 NOC Carnage Show video. Every year, the NOC Chattooga Rafting Outpost hosts a whitewater rafting carnage show—a celebration centered around a video that highlights flips, wipeouts, and the fun culture of the summer rafting season.
The animation was created for the raft guides of the Nantahala Outdoor Center’s Chattooga River Outpost—true river lovers. Inspired by the flow and movement of water, I drew from tattoo design aesthetics to shape both the water and typography, allowing them to mimic the river’s natural currents.
